Uprated steel version of the brass 1st or 3rd gear bush found in Triumph TR4, TR4A, TR250, TR5 PI, early TR6’s, 2000, 2500 and 2.5PI.
If you are building an uprated gearbox, always use steel mainshaft bushes.
This item features a basically central oil groove to suit the oil holes in the earlier mainshaft gears.
In comparison, the later factory upgraded steel bushes (153238) featured an offset oil groove to match the later mainshaft gears with offset oil holes.
